Piles or hemorrhoids can be classified into two categories. Moreover, it can be divided into Grades depending on the severity of the disease.
1. Internal Hemorrhoids
Internal haemorrhoids are swollen veins in the anus. These swollen veins are located inside the rectum. Usually, internal haemorrhoids are not seen. These can be felt on palpation but nothing comes out. As a result, internal haemorrhoids are missed by patients and left undiagnosed for years.
There is a strong possibility of converting internal haemorrhoids into external haemorrhoids if left untreated.
2. External haemorrhoids
External haemorrhoids are the swollen veins of the rectum and are protruding out from the anus.
Haemorrhoids can be categorized into Grades depending on the severity of the disease.
Grade-1 Hemorrhoids remains inside the anus and are not felt or seen.
Grade-2 Hemorrhoids comes out from the anus but goes back into the rectum itself when the patient stood up,
Grade -3 Hemorrhoids are protruded out from the rectum and remain out until are not pushed back.

Hydration and Fiber-Rich Diet
The best remedy for haemorrhoids is maintaining hydration and eating a fibre-rich diet. Drinking enough water, and eating a fibre-rich diet helps in pushing the undigested food towards the intestine. This forms pulp, improve digestion and relieve constipation.
But if undigested food stays in the intestine for longer hours then causes constipation which provokes constipation and Hemorrhoids.
Sitz Bath with Antiseptic or Epsom Salt
Warm Sitz baths help in getting rid of haemorrhoids fast and soothe irritation and itching from haemorrhoids. Take a tub, fill it with warm water and add an antiseptic liquid or Epsom salt. Sit in the tub and immerse your hip and affected area. Make a Habit of Sitz bath for 15-20 minutes after each bowel movement.
