Making mistakes while drinking water can cause various health issues and diseases which may include indigestion, GERD and acid reflux, respiratory disorders, cardialgia and joint pain.

If you drink water in a hurry and gulp water directly can cause spasms and pain in your oesophagus and you feel like water is stuck in a food pile (Oesophagus). This condition is called cardialgia which may further lead to tightness of the sphincter between your food pipe and oesophagus.
Always drink water while standing
It is a bad habit to drink water while standing which can be even life-threatening. If you drink water while standing, then water can go into your trachea (respiratory tract) which can cause spasms in your trachea. This phenomenon can lead to cessation of breath and life can be in danger.
You drink water sip by sip while sitting only
This method is the correct method for drinking water. When you drink water while sitting, it prevents water to go into your trachea. Just drink water sip by sip and keep water for a second or two in your mouth. Squish it and then drink. This activates your salivary glands to release more saliva. This helps in your digestion and prevents gastritis and constipation too.

Hot water also acts like cold water; long-term use of hot water can lead to dehydration. Also, it doesn’t help in crunching your thrust.
Drinks Normal and Room Temperature Water
This is the correct type of water to drink. Normal water at room temperature is always helpful for your health. The best way to use room temperature water is to use a pitcher and keep water in it. This is the best thrust cruncher water. In cold weather, you can use lukewarm water.

When you drink water in between or just after the meal, it causes dilution of hydrochloric acid which leads to indigestion as food remains for longer hours in the stomach in the absence of low enzymes and low dilution of hydrochloric acid.

This can be one of the causes of cancer because plastic starts breaking down into styrene once reaches 40 F and above. Styrene is a strong carcinogenic agent and long-term usage of plastic bottle water can lead to cancer.
